Our mission is to provide innovative and accessible family programming, arts education, and performing arts productions for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

• Each year the SRT engages more than 12,000 children in the arts through festivals, performances, summer camps, and year-round school programs.

• We reach an additional 12,000 adults with more than 100 performances annually.

• The theater is also available to local, national and international artists who bring in exciting productions of music, dance, theater, film, and comedy.

• We are dedicated to:
- Engaging diverse audiences with adventurous programming
- Providing outreach to those traditionally under-served by the arts and making 30% of our programming free to low-income families and children
– Inspiring creativity in children through a range of innovative arts education opportunities
– Providing a platform for new work by artists of all ages and disciplines.
